To introduce you to music theory and different techniques. We have been working on making music theory easy for anyone who wants to learn it. Thus, our site name with "101" at the end of it. With all of our efforts together we can make Music Theory for Guitar 101.com a good tool for developing musicians. So your comments are very important to our ongoing efforts to improve our work. Your inquiries and comments will help the next musician develop and grow. I will now share with you different aspects of your instrument and of music. After reading the information I have placed on the site it will then be time to move on.
There is going to be a lot of memorizing at first, instrument parts, types of strings, string names, note names, and chord shapes. The important thing is that you understand that these are tools. The more a person can remember the easier it will become to learn more. People get confused when they hear or read the words " Music Theory" I was taught and now I understand that music theory is only an after fact it is in affect what already happen. We use music theory to explain what we just did or how we did it so that other people can do it to.
